By booking or using services provided by Signed with Samantha, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling an appointment.

Services Provided

Signed with Samantha currently provides:

  • Mobile Notary Services

  • Certified Loan Signing Services

  • Wedding Officiant Services

  • Yoga Instruction (Private, Group & Corporate)

Additional wellness services may be introduced in the future. Any new services will be subject to these Terms & Conditions unless otherwise stated.

All services are provided based on availability and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services.

  • Be present at the agreed-upon time and location.

  • Present valid, government-issued identification when required (such as for notarial acts).

  • Ensure all documents are complete before notarization (except where blank fields are legally permissible).

  • Make payment according to the agreed-upon terms.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in cancellation or additional travel fees.

Fees and Payments

Service fees will be communicated before your appointment.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Electronic Payment Platforms

Travel fees, printing fees, parking fees, or other applicable charges will be disclosed prior to your appointment when applicable.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

I understand that plans can change.

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

The following may apply:

  • Deposits for wedding officiant services are non-refundable once a date has been reserved.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • If weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances require rescheduling, every effort will be made to accommodate a new appointment.

Limitations of Service

Notary Services

As a commissioned Michigan Notary Public, I am not an attorney and cannot:

  • Provide legal advice

  • Draft legal documents

  • Explain the legal effect of documents

  • Recommend which documents should be signed

Wedding Officiant Services

Clients are responsible for:

  • Obtaining a valid marriage license

  • Providing accurate information

  • Complying with all applicable marriage laws

I will complete and return the marriage license in accordance with Michigan law following the ceremony.

Yoga & Wellness Services

Yoga instruction and wellness offerings are intended to support general health and well-being.

These services are not medical treatment, physical therapy, or mental health counseling and should not replace care provided by licensed healthcare professionals.

Clients participate voluntarily and are responsible for practicing within their own physical abilities.

Future Mental Health Services

Although I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW), I do not currently provide psychotherapy, counseling, or clinical mental health services.

Any future therapy services will only be offered after obtaining all required education, licensure, and credentials in the State of Michigan.

Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Identification requirements cannot be met.

  • A signer appears unwilling, impaired, or unable to understand the transaction.

  • A request violates Michigan law or professional ethics.

  • Safety concerns exist for myself or others.

  • A client behaves in a threatening, abusive, or inappropriate manner.

Limitation of Liability

Signed with Samantha shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or damages resulting from inaccurate information provided by clients, incomplete documentation, governmental processing delays, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Clients acknowledge that notary services verify identity and willingness to sign and do not guarantee the legality, validity, or enforceability of any document.

Privacy

Your privacy is important.

Any personal information collected during appointments or through this website will be handled with professionalism and used solely for the purpose of providing requested services, complying with legal obligations, and communicating with clients.

Personal information will never be sold or shared except as required by law.
